LAWRENCE RUNNELS Mrs. Ray, 90, died Saturday, February 19, 2011 at MS Care Center of Greenville in Greenville, MS.   She was a native of Scooba, former resident of Louisville, Birmingham, AL and  longtime resident of Philadelphia.  She was a retired sales clerk from J. C. Penney in Philadelphia.  Mrs. Ray was a member of North Calvary Baptist Church.  She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and Daughters of the Nile.    She is survived by daughter, Barbara Taylor of Greenville; sons, Rodney Warren Ray of Alvin, TX and Richard (Ricky) Ray of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Kathy Berrier and husband, Mike, Kelvin Taylor and wife, Keely, David Taylor and wife, Amy, Jessica Emerson, Wesley Ray, Rodrick Ray, Jimmy Hester, Ashley Hester, Justin Vail and Tasha Vail; great-grandchildren, Dagny Taylor, Nandry Taylor, Mitch Taylor, Maggie Taylor, Cameron Emerson, Chandler Emerson, Grady Ray and Trey Vail; sister, Mamie Cochran of Scooba and sister-in-law, Louise Warren of Scooba.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Rodney G. Ray in 1978 and parents, Buck and Birdie Warren.
