DONALD CAVINESS  Mrs. Mims, 87, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at her home.   She was a native and longtime resident of the Bond community in Neshoba County.  She was a retired elementary teacher having taught at Neshoba County Schools, Arcola, Jackson Public Schools, Leake Academy and retired from Sebastopol.  Mrs. Mims was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia where she was an active member of Women in the Church.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Linnie Lee; sister, Catherine McCraw; and brothers, Robert E. Lee and John M. Lee.   Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Garland Mims of Philadelphia; son, Lee G. Mims and his wife, Betty of Florence; grandson, Garland E. Mims and his wife, Kristy of Huntsville, AL; granddaughter, Dory L. Craft and her husband, Sterling of Seminary; and several nieces, nephews and their families.
