DUAINE MORGAN Mrs. Cressie Ryals Atkinson, 82, died Saturday, January 28, 2012 at Neshoba County General Hospital.  She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  Mrs. Atkinson was a member of Salem Baptist Church. She was retired from U.S. Motors in Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Homer Ryals, Jr. and Pete Atkinson; sister, Adis Mayo and brother, Olen Jones. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Lewis and husband, Larry of Philadelphia; sons, Kenny Ryals and Mike Ryals, both of Philadelphia; stepsons, Jerry Atkinson and Paul Atkinson, both of Philadelphia, Stan Atkinson of Savannah, GA, Mike Atkinson of Jackson and James Allen Nelson of Knoxville, TN; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bobbie Stovall, Faye Savell and Shirley Burkes, all of Philadelphia and Sylvia Bell of Fountain, FL; brother, Doyle Jones of Stewart and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Scotty Lewis, Jason Ryals, Kevin Ryals, John Wilkerson, Stephen Hutcherson, Lonnie Beason, Mark Jones and Jimmy Jones.
