CHRIS VOWELL   Mr. Jessie Hardy, Jr., 82, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. He was a native and lifelong resident of Philadelphia.  Mr. Hardy was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church.  He was retired from U.S. Motors in Philadelphia. Mr. Hardy was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Jean Bobo Hardy; parents, Jessie James Hardy, Sr. and Izora Hardy and brother, Eugene Hardy.Survivors include daughters, Brenda Hardy and Robin Gregory both of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Ragan Coggins, Johnnie Gregory and Jessie Gregory; and brother, Jimmy Hardy of Northport, AL. Pallbearers are Chad Grantham, Scotty Stevens, Mark Bobo, Kevin McNeil, Jimmy Hardy, Johnnie Gregory, Jessie Gregory and Doug Hardy.  Honorary pallbearers are co-workers on the shaft line at U.S. Motors.
