DAN HOWARD Mrs. Katherine Steiger Ridout, 54, died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was a native and lifelong resident of Philadelphia.  She was retired owner and operator of Ellis Theater.  Mrs. Ridout was a member of First Baptist Church in Philadelphia. She was founder of Advocates for the Exceptional, a non-profit organization that helped people with disabilities. Survivors include her husband, Gerald Ridout of Philadelphia; daughters, Mary Kay Hardy (Undeon) of Philadelphia, Jennifer Ridout of Meridian, Liz Tullos of Hot Springs, AR, and Kimberly Marie Ridout of Philadelphia; sons, Jonathan Tullos (Jessica) of Stonewall and Steven Ridout of Oxford; grandchild, Jakobe Hardy; sister, Linda Steiger of Philadelphia; brother, Bill Steiger of Albuquerque, NM; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Bert Tingle, Don Tullos, Undeon Hardy, Ken Edwards, Gerry Carter, Marshall Prince, Jimmy Reid, and Willis Tullos.
