DAVID HARDYINTERMENT:  BETHSAIDA CEMETERY Mrs. Mowdy, 75, of Neshoba County, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County.  Mrs. Mowdy was a member of Bethsaida Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, Morrice Mowdy; daughters, Gwen Ryals, Reba Fryery, Wanda Savell, and Susie Strickland; sons, Gilbert Mowdy and Chris Mowdy; 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dean Walker of Philadelphia, Dorothy Kirby and Rebecca Barnett both of Jackson; and brother, Tommy Barnett of De Kalb, TX. Mrs. Mowdy was preceded in death by her parents, Wilson and Sadie Barnett; sisters, Hilda Barnett, Eva Mae Talley, and Mary Alice Steele; and brothers, EG “Hop” Barnett and Rev. Charles Barnett. Pallbearers were Richard Winstead, Robert Barnett, Mike Barnett, Larry Walker, Gary Walker, and Glen Barnett.
