JOE FLOYD STEVERSON Mr. Cumberland, 67, died Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo.He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County and had recently been living in Vardaman with his son.  He was a retired power line construction foreman.  Mr. Cumberland was Baptist by faith and attended Grace Baptist Church while residing in Philadelphia.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Jack and Ruby Cumberland; and siblings, Margaret Steverson, DeWitt Cumberland and DeLane Cumberland. Survivors include his daughters, Vicky Wright of Pass Christian, Stacie Bass of Moss Point, Melissa Johnson of D’Iberville, June Nowell of Louisville and Kimberly Brassfield of Houlka; sons, Kenneth Meyers of Pascagoula, Michael Ryan Forest of Jackson and Darius Cumberland of Vardaman; numerous grandchildren and their families; sisters, Earsel Chisolm, Johnnie Wright and Ruby Faye Nowell all of Philadelphia; brothers, Durward Cumberland of Jackson, Olen Cumberland of Brandon, Jerry Cumberland of Philadelphia and Ronald Cumberland of Hamilton, OH; and several nieces, nephews and their families. Pallbearers will be Justin Tipton, Ralph Nowell, David Smith, Tony Wright, Dustin Cumberland, Doug Lucas, Nicolas Moreno and Patrick Alford.  Honorary pallbearer is Robert Alford.
