Olmedo was born and reared in the community of Nuevo Leon in Monterrey, Mexico and made his home in Philadelphia, MS.  He was employed by Yates Construction Company.  Mr. Olmedo was a member of the I. E. C. E. Church in Carthage, MS.  Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Olmedo; parents, Antonio and Ana Maria Olmedo; sons, Luis Fernando Olmedo, Jr., Brandon Darinel Olmedo, Jacob Manuel Olmedo; daughter, Jennifer Joana Olmedo; brothers, Victor Hugo Olmedo, Raul Olmedo and José Guadalupe Olmedo; and sister, Maria del Rosario.  He was preceded in death by his brother, José Antonio Olmedo.
