MARK CLOYS Mr. Burnett, 93, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. He was a native of the Lynville community in Kemper County and a longtime resident of Philadelphia.  He retired as a salesman from Philadelphia Coca-Cola Bottling Company.  Mr. Burnett was a member of East Philadelphia Baptist Church. Survivors include his daughter, Karen McDaniel (Clifford) of Philadelphia; son, George Burnett (Catherine) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, John Callahan, Elizabeth Spreafico, Alan Burnett, Yvonne Warren and Amy Burnett; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Callie Peden of Douglasville, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Burnett was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Katherine McLaurin Burnett; parents, Howell and Doris Burnett; and sisters, Ada Wyse, Lois McConell and Janice Duncan. Pallbearers were Timmy Duncan, Kevin Warren, Keith Warren, Eddie McLaurin, James McLaurin and Michael Spreafico.
