Mr. Mott, 78, died Thursday, September 19, 2013, at his home in Sturgis.He was born and reared in the Neshoba community of Neshoba County. He attended Neshoba School and graduated from Union High School.  Mr. Mott was a member of Neshoba Baptist Church.  He had lived in Sturgis for the past four years where he attended Friendship Baptist Church.  He was a member of the Masonic Lodge.  Mr. Mott retired after many years with Liberty National Life Insurance Company. Survivors include his wife, Ruby L. Mott of Sturgis; daughters, Vicky Labine and her husband, Mike of Tyrone, GA and Kathy Nason and her husband, Luke of Sturgis; son, Ricky Mott of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Hailey Nason, Canon Mott, Zach Nason, Michael Labine, and Brandon Labine; and sister, Hazel Foster of Union.Mr. Mott was preceded in death by his son, Douglas Allen Mott and parents, Abb and Flora Mott.Pallbearers were Al Boler, Tommy Coleman, Sterling Lewis, Buster Nason, Tri Nason, Lane McClendon, Heath Ray and Billy Thompson.
