LARRY MUSEMr. Myhre, 73, of DeKalb, died Saturday, September 28, 2013, at his home.He was a native of Wyoming and had lived in Kemper County for 41 years, after retiring from the U.S. Navy. He served as a constable for Kemper County for four years. He was a member of Summerville Masonic Lodge #64 and a Shriner. Mr. Myhre was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.He was a beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather (papaw), great-grandfather, brother and brother-in-law.Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Sandra C. Myhre of DeKalb; son, Wayne E. Myhre, Jr. (Tammy) of DeKalb; daughter, Tammy L. Jenkins of DeKalb; grandchildren, Wayne E. Myhre, III (Amy), Kristin Nyholm, Andrea Holifield (Scott), Amanda Myhre and Taylor Myhre; great-grandchildren, Haisley Nyholm, Kobe Nyholm, Kadynce Myhre and Mary Payton Myhre; brothers, Harold Brown of Florida, and Robert Brown of Lusk, Wyoming; sisters, Georgie James of Buffalo, Wyoming, and Joyce Gallant of Buffalo, Wyoming; and a host of nieces and nephews.Wayne loved his special companions: his cats, dogs, chickens and deer that he fed several times a day. He will be terribly missed by everyone who knew him.He was preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn Myhre and Bill Brown;and sister, Darlene June Lavering.Pallbearers were Richard Jones, Justin Pfeifer, John Creekmore, Ravon Cumberland, Scott Holifield and Nathaniel Thaggard.
