MIKE SULLIVANMr. Carter, 87, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, October 27, 2013, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian.He was a native of Neshoba County and a longtime resident of the Bloomo community.  He retired from Wells Lamont as a truck driver.  Mr. Carter was Methodist by faith.  He was an avid fox hunter.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps and served during WWII.Survivors include his daughter, Patsy Grimes and her husband, Danny of Carthage; son, Jimmy Carter and his wife, Linda of Clinton; four grandsons; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Shirley Allen of Pearl; and a host of nieces, nephews, and their families.He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Carter; sisters, Syble Thrash and Katherine Coker; parents, Joe and Tinnie Carter and great-grandchildren, Copeland Carter and Colson Carter. Pallbearers were Eddie Pierce, Grady Pierce, Russell Carter, Randy Carter, Joey Thrash and Sherlon Patterson.
