TIM VOWELLMr. Martin, 93, of Philadelphia, died Monday, November 18, 2013, at his home.He was a native and lifelong resident of the Fork community in Neshoba County. He was a retired farmer/carpenter. Mr. Martin was a member of New Zion United Pentecostal Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during WWII where he was awarded the Bronze Star.Survivors include his daughters, Patsy Kirkland and her husband, James of Philadelphia and Beth Warren of Philadelphia; sons, Joe Martin of Forest and Charles Martin and his wife, Shirley of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Keela White and her husband, Philip, Juane Kirkland, Dr. Patrick Kirkland and his wife, Courtney, Mandy Bradley and her husband, Wesley, Mistie King and her husband, Keith, Landon Warren, Rev. Joel Martin and his wife, Tammy, Susanne Harmon and her husband, Clay, Christie Rodriguez and her husband, Terry, and Rev. Jason Martin and his wife, Brandi; great-grandchildren, Kyndal White, Abigail Kirkland, Caleb Kirkland, Austin Waddell, Kaleigh Waddell, Jayden Bradley, Bethany Bradley, Bella Warren, Brandon King, Kanon King, Zac Harmon, Shancey Harmon, Ashlyn Martin, Addalyn Martin, Madison Rodriguez, McKenzie Rodriguez, Caelan Martin and Cade Martin; great-great-grandchildren, Ian King, Slade King, and Knox King; and brother-in-law, Rev. Brown Barrier of Philadelphia.Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his wife, Arlie Martin; infant daughter, Norma Faye Merle Martin, daughter-in-law, Sue Martin; son-in-law, Lamar Warren, great-grandson, Ethan Bradley; and parents, Joe and Mattie Martin.Pallbearers were Juane Kirkland, Rev.
