MACK ALFORD Mrs. Permenter, 74, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, April 6, 2014 at her residence. She was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County.  She was a retired registered nurse and worked for Dr. R.L. Moore for a number of years.  Mrs. Permenter was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Neshoba County. Survivors include her daughter, Penny Sharp (Danny) of Philadelphia; sons, Walt Permenter (Marie) of Philadelphia and Brad Permenter (Jimmie) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Andy Sharp, Amy Sharp, Matt Permenter, Jessica Permenter Graham, Madison Alford, Morgan Alford, Kip Nance, and Candee Nance Beckham; great-grandchildren, William Beckham, John Cross Beckham, Ellee Beckham, Maggie Nance and Harley Burrage; sister, Willene Harris (T.O.) of Moss Point; brother, Joe Clark (Carolyn) of Decatur; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Permenter was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Edd” Permenter; an infant son, Robert Clark Permenter; sister, Wanda Ward and brothers, Raymond Clark and Dwight Clark.
