JAMES EDWARDS Mr. Hollis, 67, of Carthage, died Friday, April 11, 2014 at Neshoba County General Hospital. He was a native of Leake County.  He was a retired police officer and had served as chief of police for the City of Forest and the City of Eupora.  Mr. Hollis was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.  He was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church in Leake County. Survivors include his daughters, Vonda Rogers of Philadelphia and Valerie Habeeb of Oxford; grandchildren, Reagan Habeeb of Oxford, Jessica Goss and Alicia Wade; and nephews, Stacey Hollis and Dempsey Hollis, both of Carthage.
