GARY SISTRUNKMrs. Barrett, 87, of Philadelphia, died Friday, May 9, 2014 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and a former longtime resident of Philadelphia and the Linwood/Dixon area.  She had made her home in the Good Hope community for the past 16 years.  She was retired from Decatur Shirt Factory as a machine operator.  Mrs. Barrett was a member of Oak Ridge Church of God. Survivors include her husband of 69 years, Percy Barrett of Philadelphia; son, Wilford Barrett (Reba) of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Greg Barrett (Becky) of Edinburg and Brad Barrett (Melissa) of Philadelphia; great-grandchildren, Ben Barrett, Shelby Barrett, Aireyal Barrett, Ben Massey, and Anna Bailey; sister, Margene Smith of Philadelphia; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Barrett was preceded in death by her sisters, Imogene Grice and Joyce Storey; and brothers, J.D. Ladd, Marion Ladd, and Gerald “Pete” Ladd.Pallbearers were Donald Barrett, Bill Boyle, Nicky Nowell, Douglas Barrett, Lim Barrett and Eddie Nowell.
