LESLIE COURTNEY Mr. Nicholson, 54, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was a native of Neshoba County.  He formerly worked as a mechanic for Steele Farms in Hollandale.  Mr. Nicholson was Pentecostal by faith. Survivors include his wife, Diana “Dee” Nicholson of Philadelphia; daughters, Kelly Nicholson of Plaquemine, LA and Cindy Dinning of Plaquemine, LA; son, Claudie Odell Nicholson, II of Plaquemine, LA; four grandchildren, Coedy, Shanon, Matthew and Emily;  mother, Leora Nicholson of Coconut Creek, FL; sisters, Ann Parker of Ft. Myers, FL, Myrtis Bynum of Meridian, Melissa Bates of Jackson and Mary Gardner of Coconut Creek, FL; brothers, Pete Nicholson of Meridian and Leroy Nicholson of Coconut Creek, FL; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Nicholson was preceded in death by his father, James Nicholson; brother, David Nicholson; and grandparents, Walter and Maggie Nicholson. Pallbearers were Tracy Bynum, Larry Cole, Douglas Lovern, Danny Gray, Junior Bell and James Bennett.
