OWEN GORDONMr. Sharp, 85, of Philadelphia, died Friday, August 29, 2014 at Neshoba County Nursing Home. He was born and reared in the Beatline community of Neshoba County where he made his home most of his life.  Mr. Sharp was a member of Southside United Methodist Church.  He was a retired longtime employee of U.S. Motors. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. Survivors include his wife, Polly Sharp of Philadelphia; daughter, Connie Eakes of Philadelphia; son, Robbie Sharp of Madison; grandchildren, Tyler Eakes and Tabby Eakes both of Philadelphia; sisters, Alice Hardy and Ollie Mae Apperson both of Philadelphia and Lessie Killen of Union; and a host of nieces and nephews.Pallbearers were Randy Watkins, Scotty Jenkins, Jimmy Dale Smith, Jim Banks Smith, Kevin Baysinger and Chad Baysinger.
