MIKE TRUHETTMr. Herrington, 81, of Philadelphia, died Friday, September 19, 2014 at his home. He was born and reared in the House community of Neshoba County and had made his home in Philadelphia since 1968.  He was a carpenter and heavy equipment operator.  Mr. Herrington was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Gertrude Herrington of Philadelphia; daughter, Susan Bishop of Philadelphia; son, Gene Herrington and his wife, Donna of Philadelphia; granddaughters, Charity Baysinger, Stephanie Bishop, and Leah Bishop; grandsons, Nathan Herrington and Eric Bishop; great-granddaughters, Katie Baysinger and Hailey Baysinger; sister, Mary Ann Touchstone of Meridian; brother, Pace Herrington of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Nathan Herrington, Eric Bishop, Jason Baysinger, Vince Mcelhenney, Ricky Cumberland, John Ellingburg, Bo Chamblee, David Ellingburg and Glen Ellingburg.
