DON COOK Mrs. Alderman, 87, of Philadelphia, died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Neshoba County General Hospital. She was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. She formerly worked at Wells-Lamont in Philadelphia and later as a store clerk at A&P, Sunflower and Vowell’s Marketplace. Mrs. Alderman was a member of Ocobla Baptist Church. Survivors include her son, James Henry Alderman (Judy) of Philadelphia; grandson, Dennis Alderman of Philadelphia; great-grandchildren, Austin Alderman and Alyssa Lofton (Todd); great-great-grandchildren, Maddie Lofton and Hannah Lee Lofton; sister, Mattie Bell Franklin of Philadelphia; brother, Jack Thrash of Philadelphia; and a number of nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Alderman was preceded in death by her husband, Buck Alderman. Pallbearers were James Thomas, Scotty McDaniel, Kent Warren, Warren Jenkins, Ralph Jenkins and James Fulton.
