Vane Lawrence Greer

A memorial service for Vane Lawrence Greer will be held at the Neshoba County Nursing Home activities room on Saturday, March 28, 2015, at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will be in Maryville, Tennessee.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Greer, 94, died Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. He was born June 19, 1920, in Ashe County, North Carolina, to Smith Greer and Fannie Miller Greer.  He had been a resident of Neshoba County Nursing Home for the last three years. Mr. Greer was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Meadows Greer; his parents, Smith and Fannie Miller Greer; brother, Ralph Greer and sisters, Elsie Eldreth and Jessie Ham. He is survived by sisters, Lessie Perry and Elnora Greenland and a host of nieces and nephews.
