JAMES MILNERMrs. Smith, 79, of Philadelphia, died Friday, June 5, 2015, at The Specialty Hospital of Meridian. She was born in the Edinburg Community of Leake County but had made her home in Philadelphia for the past 60 years.  Mrs. Smith was a member of Beacon Street Baptist Church.  She was retired secretary for Shippers Express. Survivors include her daughter, Betty Smith (Larry), and grandson, Brent Smith, all of Philadelphia; great-granddaughter, Claire Smith; sisters, Clydia Milner (James) of Brandon, Polly Adams (Larry) of Flowood, Peggy Allen of Morton, Dot Vogel (George) of Texas and Lou Ann Manuel of Brandon. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Earl Smith; parents, Clyde and Helen Mooney, and sister, Freddie Bridges.
