JERRY WILKERSON Mr. Foster, 85, of Slidell, Louisiana, died Monday, August 24, 2015, at Slidell Memorial Hospital. He was a native of Kennedy, Alabama, and a longtime resident of the Slidell/New Orleans, Louisiana area.  He was retired from Domino Sugar Refinery in Chalmette, Louisiana.  Mr. Foster served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his daughters, Joyce Poole (Roger) of Philadelphia and Dot Turner (Rocky) of Nicholson; son, Bud Foster of Slidell, LA; four grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Foster was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Jean Foster; granddaughter, Tina Poole Lesley; parents, Emit and Maureen Foster; and one brother.Pallbearers were Karl Sheasby, Joshua Hendrix, Shaun Alawine, Billy McLaurin, Ronald Junkin and Randy Junkin.
