MIKE SKINNER Mrs. Gilbert, 95, died Monday, September 14, 2015, at Mississippi Care Center of DeKalb in DeKalb, MS. She was a native and lifelong resident of the Linwood/McDonald communities of Neshoba County.  She had formerly worked at Garan in Philadelphia,and Boyston Shirt Factory in Decatur.  Mrs. Gilbert was a member of Linwood Baptist Church.   Survivors include her  sons, Jimmie Gilbert (Hai) of Douglasville, GA, and Keith Gilbert (Linda) of Little Rock, MS; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Leota Barrett of Linwood, and  a host of nieces, nephews, and their families. Mrs. Gilbert was preceded in death by her husband, E. D. Gilbert; daughter, Eva D. Barrett; sons, George and John Gilbert; three brothers and five sisters.Pallbearers were James Barrett, James Gilbert, Speedy Barrett, Tim Gilbert, Steve Gilbert and John Gilbert.
