KEVIN VAUGHNMrs. Martha Vines Johnson Jones, joined her Lord on October 8, 2015 after a long illness, surrounded by loving family members. Mrs. Jones, a native of Neshoba County, was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Johnson; daughter, Martha Joyce Roy; grandsons, Christopher Roy and Brett Johnson; parents, Elliott and Mabel Vines; sisters, Pauline Vines and Estelle Vines Barnett; and brothers, Lee Edward Vines and Pete Vines. She is survived her son, Howard Johnson and wife, Lynn (Shivers, MS); daughter, Shirley Johnson Vaughn and husband, Willie (Philadelphia, MS); husband, Max Jones (Terry, MS); grandchildren, Rev. Kevin Vaughn, Allen Vaughn, Michael Vaughn, Richard Roy, and Haden Johnson; sisters, Mary Livingston and Nita Green; brothers, Baudie Vines, Joe Vines, and Rudy Vines; as well as nine beloved great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Jones was a member of Ocobla Baptist Church and was active in church work for many years. She is fondly remembered as a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Pallbearers: Allen Vaughn, Michael Vaughn, Richard Roy, Austin Vaughn, Haden Johnson, Brewer Vaughn, Landon Vaughn and Logan Vaughn.
