He was a native and longtime resident of Philadelphia.  He formerly worked at Molpus Lumber Company on the production line and as a night watchman. He also worked for Neshoba County as custodian at the courthouse until his retirement.  He served in the U.S. Navy during Korea.  Mr. Anderson was a Baptist by faith and was a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Ella Anderson; son, Parrish Anderson; and sister, Irma Jean Green, all of Philadelphia.Pallbearers were Eric Sledge, Dana Kelly, Donell Boler, Towasky Graham, Julius Riddle and Jeremy Willis.
