RICKY WILCHERMr. Wilcher, 64, of Carthage, died Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at his home. He was born and reared in Leake County and graduated from Edinburg High School.  He served in the National Guard.  Mr. Wilcher was a member of New County Line Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Wilcher of Carthage; daughter, Mandi Waldrop of Carthage; son, Guy Wilcher of Carthage; grandchildren, Wess Wilcher, Gunnar Wilcher, Dagen Waldrop, Masen Waldrop and Gracie Waldrop; great-grandchild, Liam Wilcher; sisters, Betty Jean Gunn of Forest, Helen Graham of Philadelphia and Waudine Moorehead of Philadelphia; brothers, Jerry Wilcher of Philadelphia and Paul Wilcher of Carthage; and a host of nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Wilcher was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and six brothers.Pallbearers were Wess Wilcher, Gunnar Wilcher, Dagen Waldrop, Jeremy Wilcher, Jimmy Wilcher, Johnny Mack Wilcher and Terry Jo McPhail.
