ED FLASKAMPMrs. Bertye Mae Cannon, 83, of Lauderdale, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at Central Mississippi Medical Center. She was a native of the Linwood Community of Neshoba County and lived in the Meridian area for most of her adult life. Mrs. Cannon was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Meridian.  Survivors include her daughters, Debbie Hurtt (Dale) of Pearl, Donna Waddell (David) of Pasadena, TX, and Daphne Boswell (Eddie) of Toomsuba; grandchildren, Missy Robertson, Mike Skinner, Amanda Villasana, Amie Adkinson, Matt Boren and Adam Boren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean May of Linwood; brother, Johnny Young of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews.Mrs. Cannon was preceded in death by her husband, Mackswell P. Cannon.
