CHAS ROWLAND Mrs. Jean White, 63, of Vicksburg, died Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Merit Health River Oaks in Flowood. She was born in Jayess, MS, and a longtime Jackson resident before moving to Warren County last year.  Mrs. White was a member of Bovina Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, George R. White, Sr. of Vicksburg; son, George R. White, Jr. (Lindsay) of  Byram; daughter, April Hastings (Rick) of, Albuquerque NM; several children who called her mom; brother, Bobby Ard of Brookhaven; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Anne Tarver and Peggy Riley.Pallbearers were Lazarius Thomas, Chris Cain, Cory Anderson, Kenneth Nash, Kyle Young and Andrew Watts.
