RANDY CALDWELLMrs. Smith, 87, of DeKalb, MS, died Friday, September 16, 2016, at Mississippi Care Center of DeKalb. She was a native of Neshoba County but had lived in Kemper County most of her life. Mrs. Smith was a member of Clarks Chapel United Methodist Church in Kemper County. Survivors include her daughter, Jean Brown (Johnny) of DeKalb; sons, Wayne Smith (Jamie) of Preston and Don Smith (Tawanna) of DeKalb; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Smith; brothers, Dewey O. Burton and Ralph Burton, and sister, Lahoma Newsome.Pallbearers were Dusty Smith, Matthew Smith, Colton Fulton, Chris Burnham, Jonathan Jones and Randy Burton.
