CURT PACE Mrs. Dorothy Kilpatrick Salter Harris, 90, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, November 24, 2016, at Neshoba County Nursing Home. Known to many as “Dot”, she was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County. She operated a fabric store and did seamstress work in Valley View. She also worked as a beautician out of her home. Mrs. Harris was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. She was known for her cooking, especially for holiday meals. Survivors include grandson, Bill Womble (Deanna) of Fayetteville, TN; three great-grandchildren, Drew, Emma and Evan Womble; brothers, Aubrey Kilpatrick (Naomi) of Philadelphia, Billy Kilpatrick (Nona) of Philadelphia and Jimmy Kilpatrick (Margaret) of Georgia; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by husbands, Kerney Salter and Joe T. Harris; daughter, Lynn Womble and her husband, Dale Womble; sisters, Mary Frances Morris and Bobby Anne Dennis; brothers, Laulen Kilpatrick, A. J. Kilpatrick and Maurice Kilpatrick. Pallbearers are Michael Kilpatrick, Chuck Kilpatrick, Mark Kilpatrick, Drew Womble, Rick Harris and Rayford Wilbanks.
