MATTHEW WHITEREV. LIN CHESNEY Mr. Winstead, 95, of Philadelphia, died Monday, December 12, 2016, at his home. He was a native of the House Community in Neshoba County.  Mr. Winstead made his home in Philadelphia for the past 30 years.  He was a veteran of WWII, served in the U. S. Air Force for 20 years, and received the Victory Medal.  Mr. Winstead was a member of Longino Baptist Church and a mason. Survivors include his grandchildren, Mary Beth Winstead and April Star Winstead, both of Mobile, AL; sisters, Lora Tingle of Sutherlin, OR, Wilma Adcock (Grady) of Hot Springs, AR, Ann Walker (Vernon) of McKinney, TX, Beth Howington (Don) of Little Rock, MS;  and brother, Tom Winstead (Lilly) of Houston, TX. Mr. Winstead was preceded in death by his wife, Mazine Moore Winstead; sons, Timothy Wayne Winstead and John Mark Winstead; parents, William Leslie and Essie Winstead; sisters, Edna Parker and Dorothy Langdon; brothers, Lawrence Winstead, Bert Winstead and Max Winstead.
