Mrs. Helen Jenkins

Services for Mrs. Helen Jenkins were held Friday, August 21, 2009 at 3 PM from McClain-Hays Chapel with Sister Clara Moore officiating. Burial was in Cedarlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Jenkins, 84, died Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Neshoba County General Hospital. Mrs. Helen Jenkins was a native and lifelong resident of Neshoba County and a long time resident of Philadelphia. She was Baptist by faith. Survivors include daughters, Joyce Houston, Brenda Nation, and Lynda Hancock; sons, Ronnie Jenkins and Scott Jenkins all of Philadelphia; nine grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; sister, Betty Coates of Byram; and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Jenkins was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin, in 1987.
