LUKE WAYREV. FRED THORNHILL Mr. Eric Gray, 47, of Meridian, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at his residence.  He was a native of Philadelphia and longtime resident of Meridian. He was a graduate of Meridian High School, where he was a member of the marching band. In his younger years and into his teenage years, he enjoyed playing recreational baseball. Mr. Gray was a member of Westwood Baptist Church. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, he also enjoyed cooking, which he had won several cooking contest. He was an active member of the Moose Lodge and Phi Delta Kappa. Mr. Gray was a loving and dedicated father, son, brother and friend. Survivors include his daughters, Maeghan McKenzie Gray and Shelby Rose Gray, both of Meridian; son, Brandon Jacob Gray of Meridian; parents, Malcolm and Judy Gray of Meridian; sisters, Michale Spears and her husband, Marty of Little Rock and Melissa Lott and her husband, Dee of Meridian; brothers, Robert Trout and Michael Gray and his wife, Angie, all of Meridian; multiple aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Gray was preceded in death by son, Jarrod Gray and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
