RANDOLPH SCOTTREV. DWIGHT FLEMING Mr. Adams, 77, of Carthage, died Thursday, March 16, 2017, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. He was a native and lifelong resident of Edinburg, MS, and co-owner of ML & JL Adams Logging until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed drinking coffee with his friends at Edinburg Store, tending to his garden, trips to his camp in the Mississippi Delta, but most of all, spending time with his family. Mr. Adams was Baptist by faith. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Gail Wooten Adams of Edinburg; two daughters, Cynthia Adams Coates of Edinburg and Julie Adams Thomas (Dewayne) of Madden; son, James Earl Adams (Heather) of Edinburg; four grandchildren, Hayden Coates, Jim Lucas Thomas, Henry Earl Adams and Lillian Adams; sister, Sarah Adams Dalton (Brian) of Edinburg; brothers, Edsel Adams (Louise) of Plattsburg; Elton Adams (Betty) of Edinburg; Billy Adams (Belle); and a host of nieces and nephews.
