RAY FILESMr. Edgar M. "Dink" Brewer, 93, of Brandon, died Saturday, April 7, 2017, at Mississippi State Veterans Home in Jackson. He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County, but had been a resident of Rankin County for the past eight years.  Mr. Brewer was a member of High Hill Baptist Church.  He retired as Sergeant of the United States Army after 20 years of service.  He had worked for 17 years at the Philadelphia Post Office. Survivors include his daughters, Linda Robinson (Glenn) of Richland and Cindy Brewer of Brandon; son, Eddie Brewer (Linda) of Antelope CA; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Henrietta Woods of New Jersey; numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his wife, Bett Brewer; son, Jeff Brewer; four sisters and three brothers. Pallbearers are Tim McCoy, Gray McCoy, Benny Brewer, Keith Fulton, Glenn Robinson and Russ Moss.
