SERVICES: ENON BAPTIST CHURCH, SUNDAY, JULY 9, 2017 AT2:00 P.M.VISITATION: SATURDAY, JULY 8, 2017,FROM 5-8 P.M. AT MCCLAIN-HAYS AND 1 HOUR PRIOR TO SERVICE ONSUNDAY AT ENON BAPTIST CHURCHINTERMENT: GOLDEN GROVE CEMETERYOFFICIATING: REV. KELLY TINGLEREV. PHILLIP GANDY REV. JON HOLBROOK He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County.  He was an innovative cattle farmer and successful salesman.  He was a manufacturer, distributer and co-inventor of Hardy Heaters.  He formerly served in the Mississippi National Guard. Mr. Smith was a member of Enon Baptist Church and was a longtime supporter of foreign mission work.  He was a former member of the Neshoba County Soil and Water Conservation Board and the Neshoba County Gin Association Board.  Bobby received a 25 year Appreciation Award for support of the FFA Scholarship Program.  He enjoyed travel and had extensively traveled throughout the world. Survivors include his wife, Shelby Smith of Philadelphia; daughter, Suzanne (Shayne) Bishop of Union; son, Bob (Wendy) Smith of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Carly Jane Smith, Justin Wade Smith and LaCee Bishop; sisters, Bonnie Barber of Collinsville, Dephynee Elliott of Ft. Myers, FL and Norma Tingle of Dickson, TN; brother, J. D. Smith of Lake, MS and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Earl Smith and an infant brother, L. C. Smith;  parents, Tommy Lee and Lois Smith.Pallbearers are Jimmy Bates, Greg Caldwell, Mike Barber, Jason Smith, Joye James, Donnie Elliott, Kevin Stamper and Vic Wedgeworth.
