He was a native and longtime resident of Neshoba County. Survivors include his son, Tyson Tingle of Louisville; grandchildren, Lane Smith Tingle and John Wyatt Tingle, both of Louisville; brother, Hoot Tingle (Carolyn) of Philadelphia; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Doc and Eunice Tingle; brothers, Willie Jim Tingle and Cooper Tingle. Pallbearers were James Chaney, Mike Tingle, Rex Pike, Sam Tingle, Joe Nowell and James Ward.
