Services for Mr. J C Walton will be held Friday, October 19, 2018, at 3 p.m. from Laurel Hill Baptist Church in Neshoba County with Rev. Dudley Winstead and Rev. Ricky Callaway officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Laurel Hill Baptist Church.   Mr. Walton, 91, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at the Neshoba County Nursing Home. He was a native and longtime resident of the Laurel Hill Community in Neshoba County.  He retired from Houston Barge Line after 30-plus years.  He served in the Merchant Marines.  Mr. Walton was a member of Laurel Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Faye Walton of Philadelphia; daughters, Kathy Hennessey of Long Beach and Priscilla Pigg of Philadelphia; son, Dennis Walton (Brenda) of Gulfport; six grandchildren, Jason Pigg, Misty Blackstock, Josh Pigg (Meredith), Jenna Pigg, Ryan Walton (Melanie), Brett Walton (Tanna); twelve great-grandchildren; sister, EllaWeese Boler of Philadelphia; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Brett Walton, Ryan Walton, Josh Pigg, Jason Pigg, Hugh Winstead, and Riley Pigg.
