Buford Cumberland

GRAVESIDE SERVICES:  FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 20102:00 P. M. COY METHODIST CEMETERYOFFICIATING:  REV. RAY LUKEMr. Cumberland, 82, of Preston, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at his home. Mr. Cumberland was a native of Neshoba County and a resident of the Lynville Community of Kemper County for the past 42 years. Mr. Cumberland had been a civil service worker with the Navy and was a cattle and timber farmer.  He served in the U.S. Army during Korea.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ellen Cumberland; sister, Mae Copeland; and brothers, Brantley, Earl, Jack and Fred Cumberland.   Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Mildred Harville Cumberland of Preston; daughter, Joyce Eppinett and her husband, Dan of Prairieville, LA; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Doris Clifton of Meridian; and brothers, Norman Cumberland of Meridian, Sherlon Cumberland of Meridian, and Ravon Cumberland of Preston.
