DAN HOWARDINTERMENT:  EASTLAWN CEMETERYMr. Brent Phillips, 40, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, AL. He was a native and lifelong resident of Philadelphia.  He graduated from Philadelphia High School in 1988 and attended East Central Community College and Meridian Community College.  Mr. Phillips was a member of First Baptist Church.  He was also a member of the National Rifle Association, Ducks Unlimited, and Fanning Hunting Club.  He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Survivors include parents, Frank and Nell Phillips of Philadelphia; sister, Andrea Chesney and her husband, Timothy, of Brandon; niece, Skylar Chesney of Brandon; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
