George David Gibson

MEMORIAL SERVICE:  TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 20101:00 P. M.  @ PEARL RIVER COMMUNITY BAPTIST CHURCHOFFICIATING:  REV. CHARLES DOBY HENRYMr. Gibson, 47, died Friday, September 17, 2010 at Choctaw Residential Center. He was born in Opelika, Alabama and resided in Philadelphia most of his life.  He was a police officer with the Philadelphia Police Department for a number of years and then became a blackjack dealer at Silver Star Resort and Casino.   Mr. Gibson was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Manning Gibson.   Survivors include his wife, Tracie Gibson of Philadelphia; father; Al Gibson, Sr. and step-mother, Sarah Gibson; brother, Al Gibson, Jr.; two step-brothers; one niece and one nephew all of Birmingham, AL.
