Harry Lamar Fortenberry

Harry Lamar Fortenberry, 54, died Thursday, October 7, 2010 at Select Specialty Hospital-Jackson.   Mr. Fortenberry was a native of Plainfield, Illinois and had been a resident of Neshoba County for a number of years.  He worked as a fork lift driver for Peavey Electronics in Decatur.   He was preceded in death by his father, Otis Fortenberry.   Survivors include daughters, Kory Bond and Natalie Fortenberry both of Philadelphia; sons, Jacob Fortenberry and Ian Fortenberry both of Philadelphia; grandchildren, Chloe Bond and Niya Fortenberry; mother, LaJeaune Fortenberry of Northport, AL; sister, Pam Sims of Philadelphia; and brother, Gary Fortenberry of Northport, AL.   A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
