UNTIL SERVICE TIMEINTERMENT:  CEDARLAWN CEMETERY Mrs. Posey, 87, of Philadelphia, died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Neshoba County General Hospital.   She was a native of the Edinburg Community of Leake County and had been a resident of Philadelphia most of her life.  She retired from the Bureau of Indian Affairs where she worked in finance and accounting.  Mrs. Posey was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the M & M Club.  She was a member of NARFE, a member of the hospital auxiliary, and volunteered at the nursing home for several years.    Mrs. Posey was preceded in death by her husband, Dee Posey; grandson, Matt Posey; and sisters, Arva Blocker, Ella Mae Hodgins, and Earline Whinery.   Survivors include daughter, Valerie Golding and her husband, Steve of Zionsville, IN; son, Dr. Hal Posey, Sr. and his wife, Joy of West Point; grandchildren, Hal Posey, Jr. of New Iberia, LA, Kristi Taylor of Phoenix, AZ, Ryan Posey of Baton Rouge, LA, Reid Posey of West Point, Alex Golding and Abby Golding both of Zionsville, IN; and three great-grandchildren.   The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Neshoba County General Hospital and Nursing Home for the care given during her time there.   In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in her memory or a favorite charity.
