FRED BRITTONINTERMENT: CEDARLAWN CEMETERY Mrs. Brantley, 80, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Neshoba County General Hospital in Philadelphia. She was a native of Neshoba County and a long time resident of Philadelphia. She was retired co-owner and manager of Hamill Drug Store. Mrs. Brantley was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Fanning; son, Jimmy Fanning; sister, Martha Murphy; brothers, Wilbert Jones and Mitchell Jones. Survivors include her husband, Billy Brantley of Philadelphia; son, Johnny B. Fanning of Madison; stepchildren, Steve Brantley of Hattiesburg and Debbie Mohler of Brooklyn, MS; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Christine Presley of Louisville and Shirley Little of Madison; four brothers, Cal Jones of New York, Jerry Jones of Maryland, Walter Jones of Philadelphia and Bobby Jones of Florence and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers: Woody Nance, Scott Nance, Bill Nance, Tyler Fanning, Bass Fanning and Buck Fanning.
