LAWRENCE RUNNELSMiss Matthews, 90, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Neshoba County Nursing Home in Philadelphia.   She was born and reared in the Dixon Community of Neshoba County but had made her home in Philadelphia most of her adult life.  Miss Matthews was a member of North Calvary Baptist Church.  She retired after working many years at Wells-Lamont Glove Corporation.   She was preceded in death by her father, Robert C. Matthews and her mother, Minnie Ola Matthews; brothers, Arvis Matthews, Teasley Matthews and Robert Matthews; sisters, Selma Matthews, Thelma Matthews and Mazell Jones.   Survivors include her sister, Betrude Sistrunk; brother, Henry Matthews, both of Philadelphia and a host of nieces and nephews.
