Kenneth Ray Stokes

Kenneth Ray Stokes, 64, of Philadelphia, died Monday, December 6, 2010 at his residence.   He was a native of the Coy Community in Kemper County.  He served in the U.S. Navy for five years.  Mr. Stokes had worked on a river boat, been a machine operator at U.S. Motors, and was also a plumber.    He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Marshall Oneal Stokes and Helen G. Pickett Stokes Brooks; and a brother, Denson Stokes.   Survivors include a son, Kevin Stokes of Philadelphia; step-daughters, Lisa Holley and Michelle Davis both of Philadelphia; granddaughters, Skylar Stokes of Kosciusko and Brittney Holley of Philadelphia; sister, Alice Jolene Clark of Philadelphia; and brothers, Oneal Stokes of Philadelphia and Aaron Stokes of Little Rock.
