Betty Agent Adams

Services will be held on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 2:00 P.M at McClain-Hays Chapel.Visitation will be held on April 11, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. until time of service.Interment will be in Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.Mrs. Adams, 81, of Philadelphia, died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Neshoba County General Hospital.  She was a native of Neshoba County and longtime resident of Philadelphia, MS. She retired from the assembly department at U. S. Motors Philadelphia.  Mrs. Adams was a member of Longino Baptist Church.  Survivors include daughters, Joyce Cumberland of Philadelphia, Tammy Adams (Keith) of Philadelphia, Robin Smith (Scottie) of Philadelphia; five grandchildren, Eric Cumberland (Nacole), Chad Cumberland (Kim), Hayley Miller (Leif), Alayna Smith and Abby Smith; two great-grandchildren, Karsyn Cumberland and Katyn Cumberland; brothers, Jerome Agent of Jonesboro, Ark., Pat Agent (Brenda) of Carthage; several nieces, nephews and their families. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, James Junior Adams; parents, Harvey and Inez Agent; sister, Frances Stewart; and brother, Jerry Agent. Pallbearers are Chad Cumberland, Eric Cumberland, Leif Miller, Doyle Hancock, Steve Hancock, Nick Agent, Ricky Coghlan and Bubba Jenkins.
