Betty Dianne Smith

Graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm on Monday, April 13, 2026 from the Sunrise Cemetery in Leake County. Rev. Christopher Callicoatte officiating. 

Diane Smith, 78, of Utica, MS passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026.

Diane was a native of Leake County and lived in Utica, MS all her married life. Ms. Smith was a member of Utica Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brother, Darwin “Buck” Perry (Glory) of Carthage, MS; a host of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Smith was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Smith; parents, Malcolm and Jabie Perry; sister, Linda Gross; and brother, Lavone Perry.
