Bobby Holton

Services for Bobby Wayne Holton will be held Sunday, August 4, 2019, at 2 p.m. from Noxapater Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Fondren and Rev. Gerald Branum officiating.   Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Winston County.  Visitation will be held Saturday, August 3, 2019, from 5 until 8 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home and one hour prior to service at the church.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Holton, 83, of Noxapater, died Wednesday, July 31, 2019. He was born and raised in Neshoba County and a resident of Winston County for the past 40 years.  Mr. Holton was a veteran of the U. S. Army, serving in Germany in the military police.  After his service he moved back home where he worked in law enforcement for several years, and then began his career with the USPO until his retirement.   He farmed for many years.  Mr. Holton was a longtime member of Noxapater Baptist Church and a Mason in Philadelphia Lodge #93. Survivors include his son, Barry W. Holton of Noxapater; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Holton was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Alexander Holton; parents, Com and Lillian Holton; and brothers, Percy Holton and James “Sonny” Holton.
